News: Chris Brown To Spend His Birthday In Jail
Chris Brown appeared in court again on Thursday. The star's defence team had hoped that bail would be granted so he could spend his upcoming birthday outside prison, but Judge Brandlin told him he would have to remain in jail for at least another week and would stay there unless a resolution on the terms of his probation in the Rihanna case could be agreed between prosecutors and the star's attorney Mark Geragos before a scheduled hearing on May 9.
The singer also faces a misdemeanour assault trial relating to a fight outside a hotel last year in Washinton DC and could spend a further 6 months in prison if he is found guilty. The next hearing has been scheduled for the 6th of May.
