Skales Signs Multimillion Record Deal with Baseline Music

Skales Signs Multimillion Record Deal with Baseline Music
Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, the 23 year old nigerian musician popularly known for rap music with a blend of hip hop has finally hit the grand slam. Just few months ago, he was under empire mates entertainment (E.M.E) label and his biggest challenge was acceptance by the general public. Just recently he started making waves with his latest single “shake body” which he threw out a $10,000 worth dance competition for.
It is no news that the young musician had left E.M.E where he sang with the likes of banky W, Wizkid, Niyola among others, but the question of whether his decision was for the good or otherwise just got an answer when it was made known to the public that he has now signed a record deal worth 200million with his new label “Baseline records” which is owned by one of Kessington Adebutu’s sons who is a billionaire business man but this record label is being run by Howie T and Dipo Abdul whose level of experience in the industry can not be over emphasized.
This record deal as far as the nigerian entertainment industry is concerned remains about the biggest  deal and it includes a totality of a brand new car, a house and total repackaging of his entire lifestyle. Funny enough, skales still maintains the ownership of his own record label “OHK” which has few upcoming artists he is working with.
There is no need to think twice, this is a major breakthrough for him and going by the maxim that goes “when you hit rock bottom, the only way is up”, I really hope this is the beginning of a new life for him as he has gone through the difficult times and he has finally hit it.
He is expected to release his album under this label by november 2014, he will going to New York city for NEA awards, he will be going to london for a concert and Canada for his tour. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and see what comes out of this.
