BELOW IS THE PHASE OF THE STORY U MISSED;
There’s currently confusion and panic in Karu and Nyanya areas of Abuja after reports that suspected Boko Haram members hijacked a schoolbus this morning and kidnapped school children went viral. I hear anxious parents have even withdrawn their wards from schools there because of the scare.
The stories initially had it that two schools were invaded – Ave Maria Girls Secondary School and Vine International Academy but here is the true story – Ave Maria was not involved. The school
proprietor of Ave Maria confirmed on phone that their school wasn’t involved. But at Vine International Academy in Nyanya, their school bus was taken this morning by gunmen.
Vine International school’s proprietress confirmed the gunmen tried to enter her school but eventually couldn’t. And NO child was taken away by them. Just their school bus.
