In less than 12 hours of release, red-hot South African rapper, Cassper Nyovest has already scored a potential hit with download figures currently running at over 163,000, and counting.
Cassper‘s previous single “Doc Shebeleza” is among the Top 3 biggest Urban songs released in S.A this year, so it’s no surprise he’s ruffling the feathers of the likes of AKA.
The line “AKA’s favourite rapper I guess I made it on the Forbes List” has fuelled their widely-reported “beef” even further with AKA going on a twitter rant earlier today while promoting his new album “LEVELS” which dropped today as well.
Is Cassper‘s “Phumakim” a response to AKA‘s “Run Jozi” off the #LEVELS album? It would be interesting to see how this plays out in the coming weeks/months.
